the plot ends facing a scarp at the north side. the house consists of a cubic opaque volume, emptied in it's north elevation, inviting the scarp vegetation and daylight into the interior spaces.
both side elevations have small openings.
the main facade is at ground level, a full width window that communicates directly with the garden, marked by a grandiose maple tree. in the upper level a generous centered balcony separates the library form the suite.
